How do Provincial Nominee Programs function within the Express Entry system

Provincial Nominee Programs are primarily employer-driven immigration initiatives that enable participating Canadian provinces and territories to nominate individuals who fulfill specific labor market and economic requirements.

Candidates who receive a nomination gain an additional 600 points toward their Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score in the Express Entry system, greatly enhancing their likelihood of obtaining an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residence.

How do Express Entry draws operate?

Express Entry is a system implemented by Canada to oversee applications for permanent residence from skilled workers.

Candidates begin by creating an online profile, which is scored according to various factors such as work experience, education, and language proficiency.

Those with the highest scores are invited to apply for permanent residence.

To take part in Express Entry, candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria for one of the federal economic immigration programs.
