Who is eligible for the STEM Occupation

To be eligible for a STEM occupation under Express Entry, you need work experience in a STEM field, a related degree, and a good language test score. This allows you to apply for permanent residency.

Meet the eligibility criteria of one of the Express Entry programs (the Federal Skilled Worker Program, or Canadian Experience Class, or Federal Skilled Trades Program)

Experience

Have gained at least six months of uninterrupted work experience in one of the specified occupations within the last three years.

Language

Fulfill the language requirements, typically CLB/NCLC 7 to 9 based on the occupation. A valid language test score is required for application.
