Newfoundland Labrador announces four rounds of Expressions of Interest

Newfoundland Labrador – Provincial Government announces four rounds of Expressions of Interest for International Entrepreneurs

Under the Newfoundland Labrador Provincial Nominee Program (NLPNP), the province of Newfoundland Labrador has announced to open four rounds of Expression of Interest for prospective Immigrants around the world who wish to settle in the province and be engaged in the daily operation of a business they create, join or take over. This International Entrepreneur program allows more newcomers to establish businesses and create jobs in the province.

The International Entrepreneur category is proposed for experienced business owners or senior managers who wish to permanently reside in the province, and they must start a new business or buy an existing business and must actively participate in the day to day management of the business. After operating the business for at least one continuous year, the International Entrepreneur may be nominated for Permanent Resident status, subject to fulfilling certain criteria.

Individuals interested to be considered for this category and are eligible can submit their Expression of Interest during the following dates: –

September 13 to 29, 2019
October 11 to 18, 2019
November 8 to 15, 2019
December 6 to 13, 2019

In Addition to this, Expression of Interest for international Graduates of Memorial University and College of the North Atlantic, who wish to open a new business or manage a business in the province may be submitted at any time. International Graduate Entrepreneur stream remains open for them
