Canada Invites 500 Senior Managers Through Express Entry
Canada Holds a New Express Entry Draw
On July 10, 2026, IRCC invited 500 senior managers with Canadian work experience to apply for permanent residence through Express Entry.
To receive an invitation, candidates needed:
- A minimum CRS score of 392
- An Express Entry profile submitted before March 15, 2026, at 1:46 a.m. UTC
CRS Score Drops Significantly
Compared to the previous senior manager draw in March 2026, the CRS score dropped from 429 to 392.
As a result, more candidates became eligible to receive an invitation.
Express Entry Draws in 2026 So Far
So far in 2026, IRCC has held 38 Express Entry draws.
Most invitations have been issued through:
- Provincial Nominee Program (PNP)
- Canadian Experience Class (CEC)
- French-language proficiency
- Healthcare occupations
- Senior Managers
- Physicians
- Skilled Trades
Focus Remains on Candidates Already in Canada
This year, IRCC has mainly invited candidates who are already living and working in Canada.
In particular, candidates with Canadian work experience or a provincial nomination have received the most invitations.
Over 92,000 Invitations Issued in 2026
So far, IRCC has issued 92,101 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) through Express Entry in 2026.
Among them:
- Canadian Experience Class (CEC): 43,250 ITAs
- French-language proficiency: 35,500 ITAs
- Provincial Nominee Program (PNP): 5,939 ITAs
- Healthcare occupations: 8,000 ITAs
- Trades: 3,000 ITAs
- Physicians: 662 ITAs
- Senior Managers: 750 ITAs
Final Thoughts
Overall, the latest draw shows that Canada continues to prioritize experienced workers who are already contributing to the Canadian workforce. Moreover, the lower CRS score of 392 gives more eligible senior managers a better chance of receiving an invitation for permanent residence.
