The Saskatchewan Experience (In-SK) category is for foreign nationals who are currently working and living in Saskatchewan on a valid work permit.
This sub-category is for people who wish to invest in Saskatchewan by establishing, acquiring or partnering in a business in the province.
This category is for international graduates of eligible Saskatchewan institutions who plan to start a business.
The Experience Category has six pathways for those with Saskatchewan work experience: Skilled Workers and Semi-skilled Agriculture Workers with valid permits, Health Professionals, Hospitality Workers, Long Haul Truck Drivers, and Students who worked 6 to 24 months, depending on where they graduated.
This category is for international graduates from eligible post-secondary institutions in Saskatchewan who want to start a business. To qualify for provincial nomination for permanent residence, approved candidates must run and manage their business in the province for at least one year.
The Saskatchewan Entrepreneur and Farm category offers two streams: one for entrepreneurs in various sectors and another for farm owners and operators, both for those with business management experience looking to start or run a business in Saskatchewan.

For workers with an approved job offer in agriculture-related occupations.
For healthcare workers with an approved job offer in Saskatchewan.
For high-skilled technology workers with a job offer, and possibly in the IRCC Express Entry Pool.
For skilled workers in in-demand occupations without a job offer.
For skilled workers in the IRCC Express Entry Pool without a job offer.
The Saskatchewan Experience (SE) category is for foreign nationals currently working and living in Saskatchewan on a valid work permit. There are five sub-categories:
For skilled workers who have been working in Saskatchewan for at least six months with a valid work permit and have a permanent, full-time job offer in a qualifying occupation.
For graduates from Saskatchewan or recognized Canadian institutions who have worked at least 6 months (or 780 hours) in Saskatchewan and have a permanent, full-time job offer in their field of study.
For workers in agricultural occupations with an SINP-approved job offer, who intend to settle in Saskatchewan permanently.
For healthcare workers with an SINP-approved job offer and intent to reside in Saskatchewan as permanent residents.
For tech and innovation sector workers with an SINP-approved job offer and intent to settle in Saskatchewan permanently.

The Government of Saskatchewan has been working collaboratively with health and post-secondary partners to shorten the training and licensing pathway to allow for a quicker entry of internationally trained nurses into the labour market.

The SINP accepts applications under three immigration categories:
To be considered eligible as a skilled worker under the SINP, you must have a permanent, full-time job offer from a Saskatchewan employer as a worker in a skilled, professional, or managerial position OR have sufficient experience in one of Saskatchewan’s in-demand occupations.
Individuals interested in applying to the SINP under the Saskatchewan Express Entry and Occupation In-Demand categories must first submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) to apply.
