1. Enhancing the Newcomer Experience
Creating a smoother immigration journey remains a top priority. To achieve this, IRCC is introducing a major technological upgrade: the Digital Platform Modernization (DPM) initiative.
This platform will modernize the entire application experience. For example, it will offer a centralized online gateway for all immigration programs. Moreover, it will include improved automation, user-friendly digital tools, and a more transparent process.

Each year, the federal government releases its Immigration Levels Plan by November 1 in non-election years.
