The temporary long-stay visa is ideal for students planning to study in France for more than 90 days but less than one year.
Lasting between 3 to 6 months Hence, this visa allows Indian students to attend top colleges in France and travel freely within the Schengen states.
Application Process To apply for this visa, you need to complete an online application, provide your passport, recent photographs, proof of enrollment, accommodation details, and evidence of financial resources. An interview at the consulate may also be necessary.Benefits and Limitations This visa offers a longer stay duration compared to the short-stay visa. However, it cannot be renewed or extended, and you are required to leave France once it expires.
France Visa Requirements for Indian Students
- A valid passport and a recent passport photograph.
- An acceptance letter from your French university.
- An EEF Admission Certificate (Accord préalable d’Inscription) and an EEF number (ZA21-XXXXX-PXX).P
- Proof of temporary accommodation in France.
- Evidence of financial means (€615 per month for your stay).
- Proof of residency in France or a hotel reservation for at least three months.
- Valid medical insurance for France.
- A completed visa application form and proof of paid visa application fee.
