Manitoba Announces New PNP Draw Results for December 2025
What Happened on December 5, 2025?
On December 5, 2025, Manitoba invited about 185 candidates to apply for provincial nomination through the MPNP.
Which Streams Did Manitoba Use?
Manitoba invited candidates through the Skilled Worker Stream, which includes:
- Skilled Worker in Manitoba
- Skilled Worker Overseas
Draw Results
Manitoba issued 184 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) in this draw.
This number is the highest since October 9, 2025.
Manitoba mainly chose candidates who joined their strategic recruitment missions.
Trends Since June 2025
Since June, Manitoba has focused almost entirely on candidates who took part in recruitment initiatives, instead of inviting general applicants.
LAA Distribution (Who Got Invited?)
Here’s how Manitoba shared the 184 LAAs:
| Strategic Initiative | LAAs |
|---|---|
| Employer Services | 10 |
| Francophone Community | 20 |
| Regional Communities | 21 |
| Ethnocultural Communities | 7 |
| Temporary Public Policy (TPP) | 126 |
The TPP group received the most invitations.
More Details About the Draw
- 61 candidates had a valid Express Entry profile and job seeker code.
- The TPP pathway received the highest number of LAAs, as Manitoba is helping more applicants get open work permits.
Manitoba Support Letter – Important Requirement
You need a Manitoba Support Letter to apply for the special 2-year open work permit.
- Manitoba accepts these letters until December 16, 2025.
- After you receive the letter, you can apply for a work permit.
- You must send your work permit application before December 31, 2025, because the federal policy ends that day.
What Is a Strategic Recruitment Initiative?
These initiatives help Manitoba employers find skilled workers.
Manitoba looks at:
- your language level
- your work experience
- your education
- your age
- and whether you fit the job
Employers must follow Manitoba’s ABC Recruitment Process before they can send candidate details to the province.
Why Manitoba May Reject a Candidate
Manitoba sometimes refuses a candidate if the person has strong ties to another province, such as studying or working there.
In such cases, Manitoba believes the candidate might not stay permanently, so they choose someone else.
